Purple Mash

Click here for the latest newsletter update (3rd April) with further information about Purple Mash and home learning.

Over the past couple of weeks, teachers have been working hard researching the best way to support your children’s learning at home.

We have now created a log in for every pupil with the online learning platform Purple Mash. Purple Mash contains a range of apps and activities matching a variety of National Curriculum areas.

A short video explaining Purple Mash can be found here.

Each week, alongside other learning, teachers will set tasks to do at home using Purple Mash. Teachers will then be able to see which children have completed the tasks, offer feedback and give rewards. Work set by the teachers is called a ‘2do’ and when pupils log into their account they will be able to see a list of 2dos they have been set and when they should be completed by.

A 'How to find 2dos' help video can be found here.

You can also use the parent code from the email to set up a parent account where you can monitor the work your child is doing.

If you haven’t already received an email with your child’s login details, please contact the school office.

The first ‘2dos’ will be set by Wednesday 1st April. We will fix the completion date as the end of the Easter holidays (Friday 17th April) to give your child plenty of time to find their way round Purple Mash.

After Easter, tasks will be set weekly on Friday afternoon (starting Friday 17th April), ready for the following week.
